A program book with all the contributed and invited abstracts will be distributed at the meeting.
At least one author listed on an abstract should be a registered conference participant to assure that the abstract appears in the Abstracts Book. The presenter of an oral talk or poster must be a registered conference participant.

Contributed Papers

Detailed instructions for the preparation of the full papers, the posters, and the oral presentations have been sent together with notification of acceptance.

Important:

  • We remind to all submitters that full paper is required for both oral an poster presentations.
  • The insertion of full paper in the electronic proceedings of the Conference and the poster/oral presentations are subject to the registration of one of the authors.

Poster Sessions

For poster layout, A0 format (1189mm x 841mm) in portrait mode is required.
Furthermore, in order to give the posters the best opportunities to attract the interest of the participants and to stimulate discussions, the organisers have taken some original measures:

  • All posters will remain presented grouped by sessions, from the beginning to the end of the Conference in the dedicated room where the coffee breaks will take place.
  • Devoted sessions are expected to the presentation of a particular set of posters. During each of these special sessions, distinguished and experienced scientists will shortly introduce the posters by means of a ppt presentation in a lecture room.
  • Awards for the three best posters (among which at least one poster prepared by a PhD student) will be delivered during the conclusion session of the Conference.

Proceedings

The proceedings will be available on UCB Flash drive key (e-proceedings). Each contributed paper will only be included in the proceedings if the registration fee has been paid and regarding full paper submission deadline.

In addition, invited and contributed papers will be reviewed and published in special and dedicated Transactions of IEEE. The reviewing process will be performed during the weeks after the congress, for a special issue available in the second half of 2009.

Exhibition

Technical exhibitions are foreseen during the conference. Specific stands and dedicated spaces are expected and must be booked in advance.
