Tuesday, June 9th: Gala Dinner

Cassis is flanked on all sides by an amazing variety of multicoloured and well preserved natural environments : in the north there is the subtle green of the vineyards, in the south, the indigo of the Mediterranean Sea, in the east the ochre of the Cap Canaille, and in the West the white of the cliffs contrasted against the turquoise of the Calanques.

You will be welcomed at the « Oustau Calendal », the house of Calendal, for the gala dinner of the conference on Tuesday, June 9th 2009, and could discover a setting of quietness, originality and of prestige with a panoramic view on the Mediterranean and the fisherman’s port.

Wednesday, June 10th: Visit of the Calanques by boat

We propose you to visit the calanques from Marseille to Cassis.

You will leave Marseille from Le-Vieux-Port by boat in direction of Cassis during almost 3 hours, and you could also discover this jewel at the gates of Marseille.

Between Callelongue and Port-Pin, along a coast line of 20 kilometers, magnificent white cliffs rise vertically from the sea. Nobody can resist the fascination of such harmony, made of the infinity of the sea and the divine madness of the cliffs whose sharp peaks and colossal fortresses strive towards heaven.
